  39. 2) How SuperJAM! Installs Itself
  40. --------------------------------

  42. The SuperJAM! Setup program does very little in the way of
  43. modifying your current Windows environment. The Setup program
  44. adds one simple line to your Win.ini file:

  46. sjm=C:\SUPERJAM\superjam.exe ^.sjm
  47.  
  48. In addition, the Setup program asks you to specify a directory
  49. where it will then install SuperJAM! and the following
  50. associated subdirectories:

  52. . The CHANGES subdirectory contains chord changes that can be
  53.   loaded into sections.
  54. . The DRUMMAPS subdirectory contains some additional drum maps.
  55. . The PTCHMAPS subdirectory contains some additional patch lists.
  56. . The SECTIONS subdirectory contains a demo for each style.
  57. . The SONGS subdirectory contains a demo song.
  58. . The STYLES subdirectory contains additional styles.

  60. The first time you run SuperJAM!, SuperJAM! creates a CHORDS
  61. subdirectory. This subdirectory contains the chords which are
  62. available for use in the chord palette.

  69. In addition to the features listed and described in the
  70. SuperJAM! User Guide, you'll find several new improvements in
  71. this version:

  73. . You can now use the Pencil in conjuction with the Keyboard
  74.   window to add embellishments and grooves to your sections, while
  75.   the Section window plays. Likewise, you can use the Eraser to
  76.   delete embellishments and grooves from your sections in the same
  77.   manner.

  80.   Song windows play.
